There are 5 modules in this course

Today, we have more climate data, more scenarios, and more disclosure frameworks than ever before. But knowing that an asset is exposed does not automatically tell us what to do, which intervention to choose, or how to prioritise capital. These assets are often long-lived, capital-intensive, and fixed in location. That means they remain exposed to changing climate conditions over decades, and cannot easily be moved or redesigned. Climate risk is long-term, systemic, uncertain, and connected to both physical systems and economic systems.

The gap between knowing and doing is exactly what you will do in this module. That's why it was called: Strategic Levers for Climate Action.

What's included

In the module one and two, we established why climate risk demands action, and we met the three strategic levers: mitigation, adaptation, and resilience. But that leaves an obvious problem. Once you accept that an asset is exposed — and you know that mitigation, adaptation, and resilience are all on the table — you are still left with a long list of things you could do. So the question becomes: how do you choose? How do you move from a menu of options to a decision you can actually defend?
